A native Texan, I grew up and went to undergrad school in the Dallas area and landed a job in sales after college. As time went on, I got burned out and decided to switch gears in order to pursue my real passion - helping others who are striving to become better versions of themselves. I now have a Master's in Professional Counseling from Amberton University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Supervised by Steve Tryling, LPC-S (#90601). Having completed my internship at a psychiatric hospital, I've seen and experienced a great deal and apply what I learned from working at an inpatient setting to my work in private practice. I currently work running a dual diagnosis group in a partial hospitalization program. 

 

Through my life and my own personal struggles, I believe that we all have the ability to harness our God-given abilities in order to overcome the obstacles that are keeping us from achieving self-actualization.  The great theologian, C.S. Lewis wrote, "The gates of hell are locked from the inside," so whether we like it or not, whether we believe it or not, the fact remains that we are, for the most part, our own worst enemy. The hope for this is that there are tools that are available that, when used properly, can effectively remove these obstacles and this is where I can help.

The focus of my work is with adults (18+). I enjoy working with those struggling with addiction, couples, depression, anxiety, relational issues, men's issues, neurodivergence, and life transitions. I am EMDR trained and Gottman level 1 certified.

My approach is based in finding real time solutions so you leave feeling like you have tools as soon as your first session.

​

My rate is $125/hr and sessions are 45 minutes.  I am out of network with all insurance companies but can provide a superbill for you to submit. For more information on rates, policies, and procedures, please reach out.
